London

HSS Skip Hire is the perfect solution when you need to hire a skip in the London area. We have a wide variety of skips available, and each one can help you as you complete home improvement jobs, DIY projects or major construction projects.

It is important that you choose the right skip for the job, and our skips come in a variety of sizes, from 2 cubic yards to 40 cubic yards. Our standard collection of skips meets most needs, but if you are looking for a skip in a special size, we can help with that too.

Our 4 Cubic Yard Skip can manage about 35 black bin bags and measures 3.2’ H. x 6’ L. x 4.3’ W. The most popular use for this skip is projects at home, since it can easily handle home and project debris and things like soil, clay, concrete and bricks.

The next size in our collection is the 6 Cubic Yard Skip, which can hold about 55 black bin bags and measures 4’ H. x 8.6’ L. x 5’ W. For larger home improvement projects as well as projects that produce heavy waste, this is the ideal skip to hire. It can handle very similar jobs and materials as the 4 Cubic Yard Skip, but it is bigger, so it can carry more waste.

The 8 Cubic Yards Skip measures 4’ H. x 12’ L. x 5.6’ W. and holds about 70 black bin bags. It can manage heavy waste and large projects. The 12 Cubic Yard Skip handles about 110 black bin bags and measures 5.6’ H. x 12.2’ L. x 5.1’ W., making it ideal for mixed building waste and large-scale projects.

The biggest skip in our standard collection is the 20 Cubic Yard Skip which can handle a large number of black bin bags: about 220. It measures 6.1’ H. x 20’ L. x 7.9’ W. and is the best choice for big projects that will produce a lot of waste. It allows you to move mixed waste out of your way while you work, and then easily tow it away when the project is complete.

If you are looking for a different size, we also offer special 2, 10, 14 and 40 Cubic Yards Skips. Contact us for more information about these sizes. Keep in mind that you may be required to obtain a skip permit and you should contact your local council for requirements in your area.

Hiring a skip will make any project, no matter its size, safer and easier. Our experts can help you decide which skip you need for your project. When you are ready to hire a skip, be ready to tell us your postcode, where the skip will be used, what type of waste you have and which payment method you want to use. Book a skip online or contact us at 0845 604 1365.
