Capacities are shown in cubic yards with a black bin liner equivalent to make selection easier. Our friendly experts will offer free advice before booking and they can also advise on or help you get the skip permit you’ll need from the City Council, if the skip will be on a public road or pavement.
The standard range starts at 4 Cubic Yards (3.2’ H. x 6’ L. x 4.3’ W.) – or 35 black bin bags - ideal for those DIY, small home improvement or garden projects. These skips can be used for mixed builder’s waste or heavy waste like bricks, soil or clay.
For renovation of a medium sized house or shop, our 6 or 8 Cubic Yard skips, (4’ H. x 8.6’ L. x 5’ W.) and (4’ H. x 12’ L. x 5.6’ W.), would be suitable. Both take mixed builder’s waste and heavy waste.
Need more capacity? Then the 12 Cubic Yard skips (5.6’ H. x 12.2’ L. x 5.1’ W.) work well for a construction or demolition site. With a capacity equivalent to 110 black bin bags, you can use them for mixed builder’s waste.
If you’re hiring skips for a larger scale project, the 20 Cubic Yard capacity skips (6.1’ H. x 20’ L. x 7.9’ W.) take the equivalent of 220 bin bags, making for stress free disposal of your mixed waste.
